Traffic Calming Commission

Present: Chris Petrak, Dan DeWalt, David Clarkson, Pat Halloran
Absent: Walter Phelps, Paul Dedell, Peter Lilienthall

1) The full Selectboard will meet on Thursday, July 7th at 6:30 at the Town Offices. The Traffic Calming Commission is on the agenda for approximately 7:30 pm. Full representation of the committee is appreciated.

2) The Traffic Calming Commission will present petitions that will be circulated and posted in the stores and Town Offices. The Commission will present the proposal for a three way stop at the intersection of Baker Brook Road and the Dover Road.

3) Other issues and calming ideas:

a. “Burma Save” sign campaign through the villages
b. Speed limits (S. Wardsboro Road)
c. Enforcement: Sheriff’s Department and coverage
Town Constable
Contract Renewal

4) Next Meeting of the Traffic Calming Commission will be on Monday, July 25, 2005 at 7:00 pm in the Williamsville Hall.
