NOTICE OF NEWFANE SELECTBOARD PUBLIC HEARING
ON AMENDMENTS TO FLOOD HAZARD AREA REGULATIONS IN THE NEWFANE ZONING BYLAW

Pursuant to 24 VSA § 4444, notice is hereby given that the Newfane Selectboard will hold a public hearing at the Newfane Town Office at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 for the purpose of accepting comments on the proposed revisions to the Flood Hazard Regulations.

The purpose of the proposed amendments is to amend Section IX of the Newfane Zoning Bylaw to bring the Flood Hazard Area Regulations into compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program. The amendments only apply to areas identified as on the National Flood Insurance Maps which are available at the Town Office.

The hearing is open to the public. Full text copies of the proposed amendments to the Newfane Zoning Bylaw are available for public review at the Newfane Town Office, located at 555 VT Route 30, during normal business hours.
