LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF NEWFANE
ROAD DISCONTINUANCE HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Selectboard of the Town of Newfane
proposes that pursuant to Title 19 VSA Chapter 7, the following described
portion of a public highway in the Town of Newfane be discontinued:
DEER HILL ROAD (TH#37) - Beginning at a point approximately 0.30
miles from the intersection of Deer Hill Road (TH#37) with Parish
Hill Road (TH#26) and proceeding in a southwesterly direction for
a distance of approximately 0.10 miles to the end of the highway through
lands of Joel Schneider, for an inspection and a site hearing on December
22nd, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.
THEREFORE, pursuant to Title 19, VSA, Chapter 7, you are hereby notified
that the hearing will be held at the specific time and location, as
listed above, on Thursday, December 22, 2005, in Newfane, Vermont,
for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in said highway,
its discontinuance, and for the purpose of examining the premises
affected thereby.
