TOWN OF NEWFANE
ROAD DISCONTINUANCE NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Selectmen of the Town of Newfane propose that, pursuant to Title 19 VSA Chapter 7, the following described public highway in the Town of Newfane be discontinued:
1. SEARS ROAD (TH#44) - Beginning at the intersection with Grimes Hill Road (TH#5) and proceeding in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 0.20 miles to the intersection with Vermont Route 30. A hearing at the Newfane Town Office beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23rd, 2003 will be held to consider the discontinuance of Sears Road from the Newfane Highway system. A date and time for the examination and inspection of the premises will be determined at a later date.
THEREFORE, pursuant to Title 19, VSA, Chapter 7, you are hereby notified that a hearing will be held at the specified time as listed above, on Thursday, January 23rd, 2003, in Newfane, Vermont, for the purpose of hearing all persons interested in said highway, its discontinuance, and for the purpose of examining the premises affected thereby.
