SPECIAL MEETING

SCHOOLHOUSE IN S. NEWFANE

PRESENT:
Selectboard member: Dan Dewalt, Joe Mandell, Peter Rysz, Guy Wachtel
Selectboard Members Absent: Ellen Darrow
Also Present: Shannon Meckle, Administrative Assistant; Lisa Murch, S. Newfane General Store; David Livingston, South Newfane General Store; Chris Petrak, South Newfane; Charles “Bud” Bergmann, South Newfane; Christopher Williams, Road Commissioner; Peter Lilienthal, South Newfane; Roger Whitcomb, VTrans; Gasston Roy, VTrans

The meeting was called to order at 4:35 p.m.

Review Proposed Plans for Bridge 14 Replacement - At this time, the board recessed to review the proposed plans that VTrans presented for the replacement of Bridge #14.

After some discussion, VTrans, the Board, and the members of the public reassembled at the site of the current bridge to see the markings representing placement of the bridge.

A motion was made by Dan Dewalt to accept the proposed plan. Guy Wachtel seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.

It was stated by VTrans that the bridge would be safe until 2011.

There being no further business, a motion was made and seconded to adjourn at 5:41 p.m.
The vote was unanimous. Meeting adjourned.
