MINUTES - SPECIAL MEETING - NEWFANE SELECTBOARD
MARCH 22, 2006
NEWFANE TOWN OFFICE
PRESENT:
Selectmen: Piet van Loon, Priscilla Cotton, and Joseph Mandell
Absent: Dan DeWalt and Patricia Halloran
Also Present: Chris Williams, as Road Commissioner, Todd Lawley, as
Road Foreman, Mike Winot, highway employee and Doris Knechtel, Administrative
Assistant
1. CALL TO ORDER
The special meeting was called to order by Chairman Piet van Loon
at 2:48 p.m.
2. MEETING WITH HIGHWAY EMPLOYEE
After some introductory remarks, motion of P. Cotton, and seconded
by J. Mandell to go into Executive Session at 2:50 p.m. to discuss
a matter of personnel. Unanimous. Selectboard members present, C.
Williams, T. Lawley and M. Winot met in Executive Session in the Lister's
Office.
Motion made by the J. Mandell and seconded by P. Cotton to come out
of Executive Session at 3:51 p.m. Unanimous. No action was taken.
3. TO TRANSACT ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT MAY LEGALLY COME BEFORE THE
MEETING
No other business was discussed.
4. ADJOURNMENT - Motion was made by P. Cotton and seconded by J. Mandell
to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Board at 3:52 p.m. Unanimous.
