PLANNING COMMISSION Meetings are held at the Town Office on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 PM

Minutes - Newfane Planning Commission, July 26, 2005, 7:00 p.m. Present: T. Bedell, J. Feifel, K. Robinson, J. Spencer Absent: J. Borta, G. Garbe 1. Chairman Jim Spencer called meeting to order at 7:05 2. Minutes of July 12, 2005 meeting read and approved. (4:0) 3. T. Bedell reported he had invited Zoning Administrator Rick Sullivan to the July 26th meeting, but RS couldn’t make it to the next two meetings due to other commitments. However, he said he would be able to attend the August 23 meeting. 4. J. Spencer said he was to get the latest statistics for planning use from J. Borta, or to get them himself, although he’s hampered by the lack of Internet access at the moment. 5. Further discussion ensued regarding the computer system and whether to pursue purchasing a separate system for the Zoning Administrator. J. Spencer said he would try to move this onto the 8/18 Selectboard agenda. 6. T. Bedell will ask Mary Ann Clarkson about any grant application material D. Clarkson was working on. 7. Final work session on Zoning bylaws revision. Tom will run final copy by Sue Fillion as well as PC members, and then will get copies to Doris for the Selectboard and Rick. 8. J. Spencer noted that he had spoke to Chris Petrak, whom D. Clarkson hoped would serve on the board, and he said he would be willing to serve for one year. 9. Jim will check on member schedules for 8/9 meeting since several members (T. Bedell and J. Feifel confirmed) will miss it, to see if a quorum is possible. 10. Review of correspondence.
