Minutes - Newfane Planning Commission, April 11, 2006, 7:05 p.m. Present: T. Bedell, J. Feifel, K. Robinson, G. Garbe Guest: Sue Fillion, WRC 1. J Feifel being delayed by a DRB meeting, G. Garbe calls meeting to order at 7:05 2. Sue Fillion of the WRC reviewed the findings of the community workshop held March 30, with ranking of the participants’ feelings about the opportunities and threats facing the Town. We discussed a variety of approaches to the issues of traffic, government, maintaining the rural nature of the Town and so on, which she will take into consideration while working on new sections of the Town Plan. By the next PC meeting, she should have sections on Transportation, Natural Resources and Housing for review. 3. The WRC submitted a bill for services in March of $1454.23, which was approved for payment. 4. At the Selectboard’s request, the PC again discussed the applicants for the vacant zoning administrator position. The PC decided to reaffirm its previous recommendation to the Selectboard. 5. Due to members’ scheduling problems, a special date for the next regular meeting was set for Monday, May 15, at 7:00 p.m. 6.
