PLANNING COMMISSION Meetings are held at the Town Office on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 PM

Minutes - Newfane Planning Commission, February 19, 2008, 7:00 p.m. [The January 22 meeting was canceled. The February 12 meeting was postponed due to weather until February 19.] Present: T. Bedell, C. Berdan, J. Feifel, G. Garbe, K. Robinson Guests: S. Fillion, Tony Fratino, Bill Morse, Katy Robinson, Piet Van Loon 1. Chairman G. Garbe called meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. 2. S. Fillion takes the floor and goes over further Zoning Bylaw considerations, particularly Article 5 – beginning with Section 510 Statutory Requirements and taking up, in turn Accessory Dwelling Units Home Child Care Group Homes Public Facilities and so on, all having been revised somewhat following a submission of notes and comments from Piet Van Loon. There were questions and discussion from the floor as well. Also covered were Section 520 – Campers (RVs) and Campgrounds, with the resultant decision to eliminate Section 521 for now; Section 530 -- Extraction of Earth Resources, and Section 540 Home-Based Occupations and Home Businesses. A few alternations were made in the latter section and some revisions needing revisiting. To be taken up again at next meeting. 3. It was decided to begin the next regularly scheduled meeting, February 26, a half-hour earlier, at 6:30 p.m. Meeting adjourned at 8:54 p.m. *** Agenda for next meeting, February 26, 6:30 pm 1.
